Question by nycsinger2000: Crowds epcot international food and wine festival?
I just booked a trip to wdw for the last week of September and found out after the fact that it’s durring the first week of the epcot foodcand wine festival. My main reason for going in September was to avoid crowds. How crowderd is Disney durring the festival? Should I switch my trip to the week before? How difficult is it to change a trip? I did purchase Disney vacation insurance. Thanks

Epcot is usually more crowded on the weekends for FWF. Most of the other parks are usually dead. I would keep your dates.

Weekends fo the Food and Wine Festival are worse than weekdays. And obviously, it’s just at Epcot. So just go to Epcot during the week and go to other parks on the weekends. No need to cancel your trip!
There is no need to switch your vacation dates. If you really want to avoid crowds, don’t go to EPCOT the day Food and Wine festival starts, and don’t go on the weekend, Fri – Sun, its very crowded during the weekends because many Florida residents visit the park exclusively for the festival.
