Question by Jane: Have you ever been to Epcot during their International Food and Wine Festival?
I haven’t really spent much time in Orlando since I was very little (all I’ve done in recent years is a business trip to the area which left little time for play.) I’m especially excited to spend our first day in Epcot and we found out that we are going during their International Food and Wine Festival! Have you been there during this event? What is it like? How is it different than regular days? Did you enjoy yourself? Details, details! :)

It’s really not a big deal. Different showcases “around the world” are available to purchase. It’s just a big day of eating and drinking so if you’re into that then you should enjoy it.

The parks do get a little busier during the festival but it’s managaeble.

It’s a fun event that i go to every year. You get to eat and drink your way around the world for a nominal fee per item bought. It can end up being quite pricey as items sell for 2-4 $ each. but then you don’t have to eat dinner as all the little samples fill you up. The fun part is that you get to try different foods from all over the world that you may not want to order at a restaurant. Each country that offers samples also sells samples of their wines and or beers. Everything else is the same.
    Enjoy yourself !

We have been to this event twice & loved it. We went when our daughter was in grade school & we could take her out of school for a few days. We can’t do that now that she’s in high school. When we went they also had cooking demonstrations & classes you could take. I don’t know if they still have those things. On the web-site I just see that they will have some concerts. Have a great time!

I love the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. There is the food and wine and then there are special cooking classes and then Chefs dinners. It can be pricey but worth it.I go every year.
