Question by cowboy_fan: Would like to make my formal dining room into a wine/cigar room? Can I get some links to give me some ideas?
We want to make our formal dining room into a little sitting area to smoke cigars and drink wine. Can anybody give me some links for some creative ideas? I’ll take furniture links as well.

HGTV did a conversion of a second living room to a british pub style room a while back. They always have good ideas on their website, check there.

i would love to be your interior decorator.
the things that can be done here are amazing and endless.
starting with a copper gilded ceiling, with a 2 step patina and dead flat finish. then a hard plaster finish on three walls with a two step broken colour glaze applied. and a mural on the fourth wall depicting either an italian outdoor cafe (or french or swiss, or where ever you please) or a grape vinyard with an old wine press in it. or you could extend the mural to the cieling and all walls, and the mural could also be of a tobacco field with a drying barn in it. or you could do any number of textures or handmade papers or different kinds of finishes…
the furnishings of leather chairs or wood and leather.
hardwood floor or tile with area rug. occasional tables…
